Until May 2009, Rachel was Global News Director for Vancouver-based, running the editorial operations of the world’s largest participatory news network.

Before moving to Canada, Rachel spent nine years with the internationally acclaimed, where most recently she served as Deputy World Editor. While at the BBC, Rachel led coverage of global stories, such as the US elections, on multiple and emerging media platforms.
